2011 Fall Trends

FALL TRENDS 2011

As you have been seeing everywhere you go, some of the colors for fall are the trite and true colors of Khaki, Cranberry, Chocolate, and Eggplant. Rich in their hues they bring life to your wardrobe during the cold Winter months. These colors will warm you inside and out and carry you into Spring! 

The fabrics you are seeing are tweeds and ultra suede, that structured Jackie O. look with belted jackets, double breasted buttons and fur accents! Owning one of these pieces you are sure to make the transition to the season in style.

Think of a vest as your must have accessory for Fall. This seasons trend is a cropped sporty look or long and luxurious. Wether you choose full length or fur it will be the perfect way to complete any outfit in the crisp fall air.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

More than 230,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 40,000 will die of the disease, according to estimates by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services .

Department Secretary Kathleen Sebeluis said in a statement that regular mammography screening "can help lower breast cancer mortality by finding breast cancer early, when the chance of successful treatment is best."

"If 90 percent of women 40 and older received breast cancer screening, 3,700 lives would be saved each year," she said. "Costs, even moderate co-pays, deter many patients from receiving these important screenings. Under the Affordable Care Act, women's preventive health care – such as mammograms and screenings for cervical cancer – is covered with no co-pays or other out-of-pocket costs."
